Confirmed

Player-readable confidence for this page. Expanded details show claim IDs and status — editorial inference is never labelled Confirmed.

When to re-check this page

  • The studio publishes per-mode lobby sizes.
  • The matchmaking UI exposes team / hunter caps per mode.
  • Brandrgarde Normal or Cataclysm visibly exposes Solo Mode.
  • The official roadmap changes its Season 1 / September 2026 window.

Official capability vs live fill

Capability Figure Label
Online co-op 2–3 Official (Xbox listing)
Online multiplayer 2–15 Official (Xbox listing)
Squad you form ≤ 3 Official / product loop

15 is a platform capability maximum, not a fixed headcount for every raid. Live expeditions often load fewer hunters when matchmaking does not fill.

Mode and status matrix

Mode / queue question Current status (checked 2026-08-23) What changes the answer
Party / squad Up to 3 hunters Update if the party cap changes in the client or official listing.
General match / lobby Platform capability up to 15; live fill varies Update when the studio or UI publishes a fixed mode-specific cap.
Brandrgarde Normal Solo Mode Not live; use the current trio-oriented queue posture Flip when a dedicated Solo Mode appears in the live queue or the studio confirms launch.
Brandrgarde Cataclysm Solo Mode Not live; do not read the roadmap as an unlocked mode Flip on the same live-queue / official-launch evidence.
Dedicated duo-only lobby Not confirmed Update only with an explicit client or studio rule.

The roadmap window is the middle of Season 1, targeting September 2026. It is a plan, not an exact timestamp or current lobby count.

Observed ranges (reported, not fixed)

Observed / reported Label
Solo-oriented raids: roughly 6–8 hunters in some queues Observed — varies
Regular trio content: about four teams in many raids Observed — varies
Chaos: sometimes about five teams Observed — varies

These are player-reported snapshots, not a studio per-map table. A permanent dedicated duo-only lobby type is not confirmed.

Why a raid can feel emptier

  1. Matchmaking did not fill to the platform maximum.
  2. Teams extracted, wiped, or left before you met them.
  3. Mode and map change density — community only reports snapshots.
  4. You are counting teams vs hunters differently than the person who posted a number.

Brandrgarde's dedicated Solo Mode remains future intent, not the live default here. Until it ships, treat that map as trio-pressure content — see Brandrgarde access and solo vs squad.

Update triggers

Update this page if any of these becomes true:

  • official per-mode lobby caps are published;
  • the matchmaking UI exposes a fixed hunter count;
  • Brandrgarde Normal or Cataclysm Solo Mode is visible and playable;
  • the roadmap moves, ships, or cancels the planned Solo Mode.

Until then, keep platform capability, observed fill, and future queue intent in separate rows.
