Who we are

Mistfall Hub (mistfallhub.com) is an unofficial community guide and progression companion for Mistfall Hunter. It is not affiliated with the game publisher or developer. Contact: contact@mistfallhub.com.

What we store locally

The progress tracker saves completed checklist item IDs in your browser's localStorage. That data stays on this device. Clearing site data or using another browser resets it. We do not upload checklist contents to our servers.

Public comments, submissions, and local tools

Mistfall Hub does not currently offer public comments, forums, profiles, file uploads, or any other user-generated content publishing feature. Tracker checkmarks are private local settings: they are not submitted to us, shown to other visitors, indexed as content, or moderated as public posts.

Correction emails are reviewed privately by the editor and are not automatically published. If a future feature allows public submissions, we will add moderation, reporting, and removal controls before enabling it and update this policy to describe the data flow.

What we do not collect

• No user accounts or passwords.
• No game account IDs or save files.
• No cross-device sync of tracker progress.
• No precise GPS or device-location data.
• Search queries are not stored by the site itself in a user profile for this product.

Analytics (currently enabled)

We use a self-hosted OpenPanel instance to measure aggregate page views, referrers, devices, and outbound link clicks. It is configured for cookieless-style web analytics (no ad profiles, no sale of data). We do not use it to collect game accounts, emails, or tracker checklist contents.

We also use Google Analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, and interactions such as scrolling and outbound clicks. This helps us identify which guides are useful and where the site needs improvement. Google Analytics may process identifiers and technical data as described in Google's documentation. You can block analytics with a browser content blocker if you prefer.

Advertising (planned — not currently enabled)

We plan to use Google AdSense to display ads on some pages of this site. AdSense is not enabled on Mistfall Hub today. There is no live ad code. An ads.txt file is published for this domain, but that file only authorizes permitted sellers; it does not mean AdSense ads are currently served.

When AdSense is enabled, third parties — including Google — may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, or similar technologies, and may collect or process IP addresses, device or browser identifiers, and other technical data to serve, measure, and (where allowed) personalize ads, limit how often you see an ad, and detect fraud or abuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

In addition to local storage for the progress tracker, third-party and first-party technologies may be used for:

• Analytics — currently enabled (OpenPanel, Google Analytics) as described above.
• Advertising — only after Google AdSense is turned on; then ad-related cookies, beacons, and identifiers may be used by Google and participating partners for the purposes listed in the Advertising section.

We do not intentionally pass personally identifiable information (such as your email address) into ad requests or advertising tags. Correction emails you send us are used only to respond and fix content—not as advertising identifiers.

Ad personalization and your choices

When Google serves ads on this site, you can review and control ad personalization settings here (availability depends on Google and your region):

Browser settings and content blockers can also limit cookies or third-party scripts. Blocking may affect site measurement or future ad delivery, but guides and the local tracker remain usable without an account.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland — consent (not active yet)

For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, applicable law and Google's EU User Consent Policy require a valid consent path before Google ads are served. A Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) and related European regulations messaging collect user choices that determine how ads may run for that visitor (for example personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or limited ads), according to Google and the CMP configuration—not as a way to skip consent by using non-personalized ads alone.

We have not enabled a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) on this site yet. We do not show a custom cookie banner that pretends to control AdSense. Before AdSense is enabled for those regions, we will configure a Google-certified CMP (and related European regulations messaging in the AdSense account) so that required choices can be collected and respected for any Google ads shown there. Until then, do not treat this page as proof that a live consent flow is running.

Children

Mistfall Hub is a general game guide site. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for accounts or profiles. We do not knowingly create advertising audiences from child-directed activity or use interest-based advertising to target children. If a page or future feature becomes child-directed, it must be identified and configured for restricted, non-personalized treatment before ads are served. If you believe a child has provided personal data via email, contact us and we will delete it.

Corrections & email

If you email contact@mistfallhub.com, we use that message only to investigate and fix content or answer privacy questions. Do not send passwords or account credentials.

Changes

We may update this page when analytics, advertising, or storage practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes for ads or consent will be reflected here before or when those features go live.
