How to Use the Mistfall Hunter Progress Tracker
Checkpoints
Primary checkpoint
Open the tracker in the browser and mark only milestones already completed in game.
Use Available next as a dependency-aware suggestion, not as a live account diagnosis.
Filter by incomplete, completed, or guide-linked items to plan the next session.
Open a linked guide when a checklist label is not enough to execute the task.
Reset only when you intend to clear this browser's local checklist.

What the tracker is
The Progress Tracker is a curated browser checklist for planning Mistfall Hunter progression. It groups important milestones, remembers the boxes checked on the current device, and links selected items to deeper guides. It is designed for the question: what should I work on next during a limited play session?
It is not a game-account integration. The site does not log in to Steam, Xbox, or another platform, and it does not read live inventory, character level, quest flags, or camp state. Every checkmark reflects a choice made in the browser.
Start with an honest baseline
On the first visit, scan the groups from top to bottom and mark only the milestones you know are complete. If memory is uncertain, leave the item incomplete until you can confirm it in game. An accurate small checklist is more useful than a fully checked list built from guesses.
Progress is saved in browser local storage. That means the checklist normally remains after a refresh on the same browser profile, but it does not automatically appear on another computer, phone, browser, or private window.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| Refresh the same browser | Checked items normally remain |
| Open another browser or device | A separate empty checklist starts |
| Use private browsing | Storage may disappear when the session closes |
| Clear site data | Tracker progress is removed |
| Press Reset progress | This device's checklist is cleared |
How Available next works
Available next recommends the first incomplete milestone whose explicit prerequisites in the tracker dataset are complete. If an item declares a dependency, its checkbox remains locked until that dependency is checked.
This is a transparent planning rule, not an artificial intelligence guess and not a live reading of the game client. If the dataset does not declare a dependency, the tool does not invent one. That boundary prevents the tracker from presenting an unverified requirement as fact, but it also means current game text should win if a patch adds a new gate.
Use the recommendation as a starting point. Before entering a raid, open the linked guide and confirm map access, quest state, required currency, and extraction conditions.
Use filters to turn a list into a session plan
The All view is useful for a full audit. Incomplete removes finished work and is best for planning. Completed provides a quick record of what you marked. Items with guides narrows the checklist to milestones that have a detailed walkthrough.
A practical three-part hunt plan is:
- Choose one progression gate, such as opening a map or system.
- Choose one camp or material objective that can be advanced in the same run.
- Choose one fallback task for a failed extract or a squad change.
This keeps the tracker from becoming a passive wall of boxes. The checklist should lead to a concrete next action, while the guide explains execution and evidence limits.
Locked items and undeclared dependencies
A disabled checkbox means the tracker knows about a prerequisite that is not marked complete. Complete the named earlier item first. Do not work around the lock by changing browser data; the dependency communicates the intended ordering in the curated dataset.
An enabled item does not prove that the game has no additional requirement. It only means the tracker has no unmet explicit prerequisite for that entry. If the current game UI disagrees, trust the game, use the correction link, and include the exact gate text so the dataset can be reviewed.
Open linked guides for execution details
Checklist labels are intentionally short. A guide can provide the NPC, map, currency threshold, extraction warning, evidence status, and known blockers. Use the tracker for status and sequence; use the guide for the procedure.
For example, a camp milestone may depend on holding currency at once, speaking to a specific character, collecting map-locked materials, and extracting them into storage. A single checkbox cannot safely replace those details. The linked camp and quest guides preserve the distinctions.
Privacy: local progress is not public UGC
The tracker has no account, public profile, comment feed, upload gallery, or community leaderboard. Checkmarks are stored locally and are not published as user-generated content. Other visitors cannot see your checklist, and the site does not present it as a shared game record.
Because progress is local, the tool also cannot recover a cleared checklist or synchronize it for you. Avoid entering personal information into any site field; the tracker only needs checkmarks. Corrections should be sent by email through the contact route, not placed in a public comment box because the site does not offer one.
When to reset
Reset progress only when you want a clean checklist in the current browser: for a fresh character, a full season re-audit, or a deliberately restarted plan. Before resetting, review the Completed filter if you want to manually note important milestones elsewhere.
Clearing progress is a local action. It does not delete a game character, change an account, affect another device, or contact the game servers.
A five-minute weekly review
- Open Incomplete and compare it with the current game journal.
- Correct any checkmarks that no longer reflect your state.
- Review Available next and open its linked guide.
- Pick one progression gate and one resource objective.
- After the session, mark only milestones actually completed.
This short routine creates a reliable personal plan without pretending the website can see information it cannot access.
Troubleshooting
My progress vanished. Check whether you changed browser profiles, used private mode, cleared site data, or opened another device. There is no cloud restore.
An item is locked. Find its declared prerequisite in the checklist and verify that earlier milestone in game before marking it.
Available next looks wrong. Confirm your checkmarks first. Then inspect the linked guide and report any missing dependency with the current in-game wording.
The guide and game disagree. The live game state takes priority. Send a correction with the page URL, game version, exact wording, and shareable evidence.
Use the Mistfall Hunter Progress Tracker to build the checklist. For broader sequencing, continue with the quest progression guide and the camp upgrades guide.
